These controlled tasks are research projects/written reports and a practical exam.
The examination paper (May) is worth 40% of the final grade.

In Year 11 the controlled task is a child study worth 30% of the final grade.
The written exam is worth 40% of the final grade.
Year 12: 4 units of work. Each unit has equal weighting.
Year 13: 4 units of work.
